Apple Cake
Ingredients
0.5 cup butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
0.25 teaspoon vanill
0.25 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1.25 teaspoon salt
1.25 cups shredded peeled apples
0.5 cup chopped walnuts
1 quart vanilla or cinnamon ice cream
Steps
In 350°F. Spray 9-inch round cake pan with baking spray with flour.
In large bowl, beat butter and sugar with electric mixer on medium
speed until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Stir in vanilla,
flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt. Stir in apples and walnuts.
Spoon into pan.
Bake 45 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center of cake comes
out clean. Cool 10 minutes. Remove from pan to cooling rack. Cool 10
minutes longer. Serve warm with ice cream.
